Ok my New Zealand pics are up. Check them out @ http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4288161845.

Just to tell u abt the highlights of my New Zealand Trip

Day 1
Took off from changi at 8:45pm on Air Newzealand flight 26 bound for Auckland. Surprisingly, the airlines service was better than Thai airways and the food tasted better too when just over a year ago, the airline was close to brankruptcy for its horrible service. Didn't sleep much ont he flight, watched Hollywood Hormicide and Charlie's Angels Full throttle.

Day 2
Finally at 8:10 am the next morning the wheels touched the ground of Auckland International Airport. Before coming in for landind. The pilot took a slight detour to show us New Zealand's spectecular 90 mile beach, which is a of course, a 90 mile long beach covered in white sand. The scenary was spececular, too bad i didnt take a photo of it.

Now i know why Auckland is called the city of sails. The harbours are filled with yachts and boats. There are practically a few thousand America's CUP class yachts around. All the cars ont he street had those hooks to hook up a trailer to the back of the car to tow their boats along. What a totally new experience from Singapore.

After checking in to the hotel, spent the day shopping (mothers grrrrrrrr). Walked up and down along Queens Street (Singapores Orchard Road. But they also have one too and its full of orchirds). Familiarised our selves with the city by taking the City Bus around.

And my god, foodddddddddddd, how can a Singaporena go without it! But the average price of 1 meal of fried rice is $10 Nz dollars (exchange rate 1 NZ dollar gets u 1.12 Sing dollarS). God so expensive! Even bubble tea costs $5. Now I know why spenser told me he ate fish and chips everyday (i scoop of fries + 1 fish cost 4 bucks :)). Well have to eat, so didnt have much choice of cheap food.

Day 3
Decided to go to their Maritime Museum to check it out. Along the way, passed their reverse bungy. (Same company that built the one in Singapore) Haha, it was empty though right in the middle of Queenstreet. Along the way popped into a few shops to check out spense's birthday present. This funny rugger kiwi who could be turned outwards to a rugby ball caught my attention. Gosh 40 bucks so i put it back but later i found it at Paihia ( a Seaside Resort) at 25 :).

Anyways the maritime museum was quite spectecular. They had a wide range of display of the various vessels from the early polynesian days to the 1990s. There was this ride on an old yacht the Ted Ashby but too bad i couldnt go on it becuase of engine failure =(. (see the phtos)

After lunch went to Kelly Tarltons which is something like Singapores underwater world only better. Since many of you have been to udnerwater world u now what its like.

Next i visited mission bay. A nice beachfront with plenty of sea gulls to torment picnickers. There was this poor child eating a sausage and a seagullc ame and stole it from him. poor fellow. I'll continue in 1hrs time gtg gunbound witht he bridge gang.
